What the hail?
Ice ball toesAfter three days of record breaking heat (highs of 100 hot degrees), we had a nasty line of thunderstorms move through Tuesday evening. There was lots of lightning and even some pretty big hail, as you can see in the picture. It was exciting! And, being the smarty pantsers that we are, Arthur and I unplugged the new computer before the storm hit. You can't fool us twice!
Martin, as usual, snoozed right through the sound and light display, so he missed the hail this time. More storms are predicted for tonight, so maybe he'll get his chance yet.

Devil and hailstones... this is the end of the world, isn't it.
Turns out our hail was nothing compared to some of the stuff that came down in the past few days. Baseball sized hail came down yesterday in San Marcos and wrecked the cars of several outlet shoppers. The horror!
