Hard at Work

Just because it's Labor Day, it doesn't mean Martin gets a day off. He's hard at work, doing his job of bringing love and joy to all the people. Today we ventured out to a new park in far Southwest Austin, a region of our city not yet touched by his drooly glory. Martin sat fascinated watching big kids scamper about on the playground, but really whooped it up as he sat in the pebbles kicking and scooping and pushing the rocks around. He ended up filthy and probably ingested a rock or two despite Mom's best efforts to keep the pebbles out of his mouth, but he sure had a good time. When he was done, Martin collected his pay in the form of snuggles, kisses, and a nice long nap. National holidays are the best!
