Two Weeks Old

Today was Martin's two week birthday, and to celebrate he lost his umbilical cord*. Who's a big boy now? Dad's very excited because now diaper changes are much lower maintenance without the cord to take care of.

Unfortunately, Mom and Dad weren't in their best mood on Martin's birthday because he was up all night the night before. All those leafy green vegetables Mom ate seemed to really piss off Martin's digestive track and caused the poor little guy to have a belly full of bubbles that made it very hard to get comfortable. Don't worry, Martin, Mom didn't like broccoli very much anyway.

Martin's birthday was a fairly subdued affair this week. He did pose for his weekly picture in the big brown chair (minus the pink booties this time). Check out pictures from his two week birthday here.
