Martin, Winnie, and Libby - The D'Andrea Pack

The D'Andrea family grew by leaps and bounds on February 23, 2005 when Martin Edgar was born. We grew again on June 20, 2007 with the arrival of Winston Raphael. And now we've got a softer side with the introduction of Elizabeth Wren on April 26, 2009. Enjoy our adventures!

A Quiet Week

This week has been nice and quiet so far. The weather was beautiful, so Martin had his first outdoor photo shoot. On Monday afternoon, Martin did his first craft! Aunt Lissa had given him a hand and footprint kit to record his tiny little paws, so we got it out and put it to good use. After Martin was nice and docile following a hearty feeding, we inked him up and stamped his right hand and foot. His hand fit the page just fine, but his giant foot nearly went into the margin. Maybe he really does have big feet after all. Check out Martin's craftiness here.

Tuesday was another quiet day of unremarkable cuteness. Because he's growing so fast, Grandma decided we should try out his Easter outfit now, since there's a good chance he'd be busting out of it by Easter. Mom was a little worried, since we've found a direct correllation between the cuteness of the outfit and the amount of time it takes to defile it, but Grandma insisted. The outfit is darn cute, and the hat makes him look like a little French pastry chef. Bonjour, Martin! Martin thought the outfit was great for snuggling in and decided to curl up with Mom and Grandma in it. The outfit actually lasted an entire day. Vive le bunny suit! Pictures of the outfit and king of snuggles are here.

In regards to a seemingly unrelated topic, Mom had broccoli with dinner Monday night and brussel sprouts on Tuesday night. More on this later...
